Зважаючи на окремі факти, що надходять до Міністерства освіти і науки України, вважаю, що розміщення портретів міністра освіти і науки та інших державних службовців у закладах освіти є неприпустимим.
Школа має закладати в дітях здатність критично і незалежно мислити. Вона не повинна привчати учнів до улесливості, чинопошановування чи культу керівних осіб.
МОН рекомендує розміщувати для загального огляду насамперед державні символи, портрети історичних діячів та випускників, якими пишаються навчальні заклади. Це можуть бути, зокрема, ті, хто відзначився, захищаючи територіальну цілісність і незалежність України.
In response to certain information that has been received by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, I find that the placing of portraits of the Minister of Education and Science and other government officials in educational institutions is unacceptable.
Schools need to form in children the ability to think critically and independently. They should not accustom students to obsequiousness, deference, or the worship of those in authority.
The Ministry of Education and Science recommends that for general viewing symbols of the state should be displayed first of all, along with portraits of historical figures and alumni that are a source of pride for the schools. In particular, these can be individuals who have distinguished themselves defending the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine.
