This book is a collection of my publications and presentations in the US, UK, Poland, Finland, Germany, Canada, Australia, Belgium and Ukraine in English during the years 2007-2015, accordingly prepared for the foreign, not Ukrainian, audience. It is not a distortion of reality, not a representation of two different interpretations for internal and external public. The problem is that only a few Ukrainian themes are truly global. Among them – Chernobyl, the Orange Revolution, the Revolution of Dignity, sometimes the current war with Russia, and possibly Ukrainian corruption. Продовження

Immediately after the Revolution of Dignity in the years 2014-2016, I led the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. As such, it is fairly easy for me to do a review of the major changes, achievements and obstacles faced by Ukraine in the implementation of educational reforms. Our common priorities are: universal access to quality education; the decentralization of governance; the autonomy of educational institutions; deregulation; reduction in bureaucracy; public-private partnership and state-community management. The Revolution served to set the bar very high for educational reforms in Ukraine. Despite the economic crisis, the demands to the government by society still exist and we have the confidence to meet them. Продовження

Speech at the Plenary 3: Effective Citizenship Education that Prevents Violent Extremism and Combats Radicalization Leading to Terrorism
The Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity, also known as the Euromaidan Revolution, in 2014 highlighted the strength of Ukrainian Civil Society, urging reforms in Ukrainian education that were well overdue. The Revolution also served as a unifying force for Ukrainian identity, bringing about hard-won solidarity in a country still burdened with a Soviet legacy. The Revolution was a beacon of democratic initiative by civil society which included all of Ukraine, transcending linguistic, religious and ethnic differences. Продовження
Цей збірник раніше опублікованих статей, блогів, виступів, оглядів та есеїв Сергія Квіта призначений для інформування іноземної аудиторії про події і проблеми в Україні та пов’язані з Україною починаючи з 2008 року. Деякі матеріали були опубліковані на сайті University World News за 2012–2014 рр., інші свого часу були представлені як виступи і публікації в Австралії, США, Канаді, Великобританії, Німеччині, Фінляндії, Польщі, Бельгії та, звичайно, в Україні.
Зважаючи на окремі факти, що надходять до Міністерства освіти і науки України, вважаю, що розміщення портретів міністра освіти і науки та інших державних службовців у закладах освіти є неприпустимим. Продовження
